Manhunt on Windows Vista/7 Fix

Manhunt from Rockstar Games is a game released around 2004-05. Though it was filled with controversial material, the game did make its mark in the gaming world.

So, I wanted to play this game all over again, so I installed it. Everything went fine, but after the installation, I clicked on manhunt.exe, nothing happened.

The game didn't start up, the cursor wasn't showing signs of loading or anything, in Task Manager, I saw the process "manhunt.exe" pop up for a brief amount of time and then disappeared.

After a little looking around, I came to know that it was because of the incompatible coding in the Dynamic Linked Library (.dll) file. It just wasn't compatible with Vista or 7. Running the application in Compatibility mode, just didn't help too!

Fix:

The solution to this was to download and install a Fix which fixes up the Dynamic Linked Library Files, thereby allowing the game to launch.

Download Fix --> Here

Just download the installer, give the Path to Manhunt Game Folder,

(eg.C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Manhunt

The fix will install, once it is complete. Just run the game using manhunt.exe, it should work as normal. :)
